Pine Lake Preserve

Pine Lake Preserve is located on 131 acres of Lee County Conservation 20/20 lands in Section 31, Township 47 South, Range 26 East, Bonita Springs, Lee County. BEC and Engineers developed a hydrological restoration plan for the Kehl Canal which included the relocation and re-contouring of the channel to a more natural feature. In addition the plan included the creation of shallow wading bird habitat adjacent to an existing borrow lake on the Pine Lake Preserve land. The plan was developed as part of public-private cooperative relationship between a private developer and Lee County Board of County Commissioners.
