West Marsh Management Plan

West Marsh Preserve is located between the Lee County Mosquito Control District airstrip and Harns Marsh, which is an East County Water Control District surface water management area. BEC in cooperation with a AIM. Engineering and Surveying Inc. is developing a water storage, water quality enhancement, and habitat enhancement plan for the East County Water Control District. The plan will include habitat restoration adjacent to the Orange River. BEC also created a Land Stewardship Plan for the Lee County Department of Natural resources.
