North Fort Myers Restoration

Prairie Pines Preserve encompasses approximately 2700 acres of Lee County Conservation 20/20 lands. The preserve is located within Sections 1,2,3,11,12,13,14,15 and 16 of Township 43 South, Range 24 East, Lee County. BEC developed a wetland restoration and upland and wetland enhancement plan for the eastern most section of the preserve. This plan was permitted through the regulatory agencies. BEC is currently coordinating on the implementation and monitoring of the restoration activities for Lee County.
