Bonita Fairways

Bonita Fairways is located in portions of Sections 26 & 27, Township 47 South, Range 25 East in Lee County, Florida. Specifically, Bonita Fairways is located on the north side of West Terry Street between U.S. 41 and Old U.S. 41 in Bonita Springs, Florida. In general, the property is composed of a golf course with scattered upland communities, and man made lakes. The site is bordered by development on all sides.

BEC created a Gopher Tortoise Relocation Plan as well as creating a Gopher Tortoise Preserve on site for the gopher tortoises that were moved. A Gopher Tortoise Management plan and a Big Cypress Fox Squirrel Management plan were also created and implemented. A protected species survey was also conducted on the property.
